Naming Names. Who’s Spamming Who?

Spamburger_1 Would you do business with a company that uses ‘spam’ to advertise or find customers?

We hate spam in general, and mortgage spam in particular.  Not only does it clog mailboxes and require all manner of technical gymnastics to avoid it, but it also erodes the credibility (what little is left) of the mortgage banking industry as a whole. 

Richard Nacht, over at the excellent mortgages weblog found an interesting article that names some names when it comes to mortgage spammers.  Some of the companies involved might surprise you. Read more:

Alex, found your Blog and wanted to complement you on looks and content. I’m an L/O in the Atlanta Metro Area and have been considering starting a Mortgage Blog focused on my area.

It appears to be more involved than I originally thought. But yours gives me encouragement… nice work… thor
