Curb Appeal Enthusiasm™: Weekend Opens

by Alex Stenback on August 5, 2005

We had a tougher than usual time with the picks this week – maybe a bit of a mid-summer lull in the real estate market -at least as far as opens are concerned.  Still plenty to choose from however, and with rates creeping up and fall around the corner we expect to see an activity spurt soon. Don’t forget to share feedback from these or any other opens – bonus for pictures.

Moorland4614 Moorland Avenue, Edina|GMAP
$1.85 Mil | Sun 1-3 | Edina
Formal elegance in Country Club, which comes at a price in this "old money" (at least for Edina) neighborhood.
576_lincoln576 Lincoln Avenue, St. Paul|GMAP
$850,000 | Sun 2:30-4:30 | Burnet
We really like the looks of this old-world St. Paul Victorian.
Kenwood1610 Franklin Avenue W., Minneapolis|GMAP
$649,900 | Sat/Sun 11-2 | Edina
The tuck-under ‘Bat Cave’ garage sucked us right in on this one.
9850_primrose9850 Primrose, Stillwater|GMAP
$479,900 | Sun 12-3 | Burnet
Metro-area log homes don’t normally get our blood up, but 4 acres and a river-valley view gets this one the nod.
Deephaven18800 Highland Avenue, Deephaven|GMAP
$399,900 | Sun 12-2 | Edina
Cottage-y, New England-ish feel here.  Good views in a good spot in Deephaven.
1736_ivy1736 Ivy Avenue E., St. Paul|GMAP
$216,000 | Sun 1-3 | Burnet
At this number, it is exceedingly hard to find better curb appeal – good interiors as well.
