West Metro Tops in Average Home Value

Logo_westsidestory_1The Strib today runs a piece that should surprise very few, reporting that the West Metro leads the Twin Cities in average home value, claiming four of the top five spots in a study released by the Citzens League

Inexplicably left out of the Strib’s list, (cribbed, after the jump) is Edina, which according to the study should be number 8 with an average value of $358,856.  The top non-West Metro city?  North Oaks, with an average value of $592,314, good for number 2 on the list.
