Mic_2_2KTLK listeners, welcome to Behind the Mortgage – while you are here, click around a bit.  The most recent entry, like this one, will always be up top, so just scroll down to read what we’ve recently published, or hit the ‘categories’ link in the center section of this page for our archives.

Join the Conversation: Much of what makes this blog work is reader feedback, so jump right in with your own comments, thoughts, or questions by clicking on the little ‘comments’ link at the bottom of each post (there’s no registration required, and if you’d prefer not to share your email address just make one up or type in

Podcast/Stream: For those that have been following this endeavor through the blog, we won’t have a podcast of today’s program until later in the week, but the show will be streaming live at the KTLK FM Talk Radio Website (click the big ‘Listen Live’ graphic, top right.)

To kick things off, give us some feedback. How’s the show? Be honest (wincingly frank if you have to, but keep in mind we’re all new at this) and let us know how we’re doing, what’s good, what isn’t, and what you’d like to hear more of.  Comment below, or email us at and if it’s relevant to the topic at hand, we may even read it on the air.

We’re still not convinced anyone will actually be listening, by the way…so thanks to all for stopping by.

Some good stuff but a lot of negativism. I’m sick and tired of both sides pointing the finger at each other and nobody talking about the good things that are being done. The media is making out both parties to be a bunch of idiots. Try taking a more neutral stance and then maybe I might start listening to your program more.

I love the show! It’s about time people who just want clear info about local mortgage issues have a place to turn. Ever since Steve cannon went off the air- I hadn’t listened to any radio until now. Keep up the good work!
