Curb Appeal Enthusiasm: Weekend Open House Picks

by Alex Stenback on May 5, 2006

Looking back, it’s been over a month since we’ve posted a slate of open houses.  Time to get back to the routine. It’s not like there’s a lack of inventory – one realtor we work worth laments: "We have five listings. Five. What we need are BUYERS…"

2420 West 24th Street, Minneapolis
$899,000 | Sun 1-3 |Edina~Dave Anderson
Jutting porch is a little unusual, but it works.  Woods etc. right on for a circa 1911 craftsman.

5313 Washburn Avenue S., Minneapolis|GMAP
$779,000 | Sun 1-3 | CB-Burnet~Brad Smith
Pretty impeccable, though we’d have opted for white cabinetry in this one. Yellow!
4119 Drew Avenue South, Minneapolis|GMAP
$499,900 | Sun 2-4 | Edina~Jim Grandbois
Already we have a love-hate relationship with this chimney placement. French doors work it out.
5045 Morgan Avenue South, Minneapolis|GMAP
$389,900 | Sun 12-3:30 | CB-Burnet~Tim Lickteig
GREAT curb appeal.  Deserves a much better kitchen, but we can’t have it all.
2235 Benjamin Street NE, Minneapolis|GMAP
$275,000 | Sun 11-1 | Edina~Valentina Yarr
Interior woods are just plain weird, but nice exterior lines.  Lots to work with.
4147 41st Ave. S., Minneapolis|GMAP
199,900 | Sat 12-2 |CB-Burnet~John McGovern
Clean, and with a little paint/trim work to add some contrast, you’ll be looking great.
