For those unfamiliar, in addition to publishing this blog, (and our actual day job as a mortgage banker) we host a personal finance, money and real estate radio program Sundays at 10AM on 100.3FM KTLK.
———————————————————————————–

This weekend, we will be having as a guest on the show Prentiss Cox, who is a former Assistant Attorney General and current Clinical Law Professor at the University of Minnesota.  Mr. Cox also chaired the Minnesota Attorney General’s predatory lending study group, whose recommendations have been adapted in the current proposed legislation.

Prentiss will be on the show to discuss the proposed changes to Minnesota predatory lending law, our emergent problem with foreclosures, and mortgage fraud, and how these may impact our real estate market.

Though this is a complicated, and often dry topic involving a lot of minutiae, it is an important issue that will have impact on our housing market and our local economy.  Interested parties, industry professionals, etc. are all encouraged to join in the discussion, so tune in from 10:00 AM -12:00 Noon on 100.3 KTLK (live stream available at KTLKfm.com, podcast will be up here a few days after the show)
