There is another story today, about the Portland condo project possibly changing into rentals.

They mention Le Parisien in the article as another failed condo project that is trying to turn rental as well. The Parisien is trying to lease former condos for between 1500-2500 dollars. It may be a high quality building, but there is limited demand for such expensive rental properties. Considering the ample amount of more affordable rental properties in the surrounding neighborhood, it is going to be very challenging to find enough high income renters.

How long until these failed condo projects simply become failed rental projects?
