This press release from the FDIC tells us that there are 252 problem banks on their confidential list.
The list is a secret because if your bank is a problem everybody knows it is a problem then it is for sure hosed, so you are better off not knowing.
Get that? We don’t have Zombie banks, or problem banks, just Schrödingers Banks. They are all fine, and yours is either alive or dead.
Just don’t open the box.
